A warm meal after hours

The staff's friendliness was remarkable. Gary went out of his way to prepare a late meal that was exceptional. Breakfast each morning was a delight, served by warm and welcoming staff who made the start of my day enjoyable.

The hotel is showing its age, with some rooms needing a significant update. Noise levels can be bothersome, particularly if events are happening below, as I experienced a noisy party during my stay.

The restaurant offered a wide variety of food options, including a delicious Sunday dinner. The portions were generous and sharing was easily accommodated. Staff were helpful in organizing services for our group, adding to a relaxed, homey atmosphere during our visit. the care taken in meal preparation made the dining experience quite enjoyable.

I had a fantastic one night stay with a lovely breakfast that truly filled me up for the day! The atmosphere was charming and reminiscent of a cozy country inn, even if the decor was a bit old-fashioned. The staff went above and beyond to help me with my needs, which made my stay much more enjoyable. I would have preferred a little more walking accessibility to nearby areas.

We had a lovely time exploring the Kilworth Arts Centre nearby, where there's a fun mix of shows from bluegrass to local theater. Plus, the large room we had was perfect for our family with a little child, offering us comfort during the stay.

My children wished for more activities for kids.

The large room was a highlight during the stay, providing ample comfort with a very cozy bed. Meals were a mixed experience. while breakfast had variety, the presentation and temperature of the food left much to be desired, especially the hash browns. Staff were friendly, yet there were moments of inattentiveness that marred service quality, like forgotten drink orders. The homemade ice-cream was a delightful treat, adding a nice touch to our dining experience.

We had a really good time! The room was super spacious, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was served until noon, which was a lifesaver after late nights. We also loved the bar area – perfect for grabbing a drink after exploring. Just found the Wi-Fi a bit slow at times.

The themed decor and clean bathrooms added to the charm. We loved the huge menu selection, especially the delicious three-course meal.

The room was clean and the staff were quite accommodating, but it was overly warm and dated, and I found the placement on the top floor to be rather inconvenient. The restaurant offered a wide variety of food, with quick service and enjoyable dishes, though the live country music felt out of place.

I stayed for 2 nights in a Twin Room, and the meals were delightful, especially the generous portions and excellent service. The space felt a bit tired, but overall, a nice stay.

It was just a fine choice for a quick stopover in Fermoy with good value. The sandwich I ordered was a nice surprise, hot and freshly made. Consider asking for a room away from the busy areas to avoid noise.
